Much more likely is the bap in Ladock 3 Jun 1716.
Both have a John as the father (which is supposed to be the correct name). Only drawback is the mothers name on the Ladock entry - which is Elizabeth. It is believed his mother was Jane CLEMOW (1680-1758)
Perhaps the 11 Apr 1703 bap in St Enoder?
