Marriage
John made his mark, Mary signed. Witnesses were Alice Hosken? and William Hubber. Looks like Alice Hosken was perhaps the wife of the vicar, C.H. Hosken. Married after Banns.
Note
Buried in Cubert churchyard. Note: A different baptism date of 14 June is noted by the Gilmore information I hold.
Note
1891 census - 37,Tresean Cottage,1,Elizabeth George,Head,W,,63,Midwife,Employed,St. Columb Cornwall,, ,,,Mary Trenary,Dau,M,,24,Laundress,Employed,Cubert Cornwall,, ,,,Wm John Trenary,Grnson,S,7,,Scholar,,Cubert Cornwall,, ,,,Thomas James Trenary,Grnson,S,5,,Scholar,,Cubert Cornwall,, ,,,Bertha Trenary,Grndau,S,,1,,,Cubert Cornwall,, Note - it is believed that Bertha and later children Winnifred and Rhoda were not fathered by John Trenerry, who, by this time, has vanished from the UK. It is strongly suspected that he had remarried (presumably bigamously) to katie Penrose in the USA. John divorced Mary from the USA and thus not technically any bigamy involved. Winnie, Bertha and Rhoda were not Johns children it would seem.
