Interestingly, Richard has used the wrong name in the "Marriage was solemnised.." bit, where he puts James Jose as his name!

| Note | Richard was born in St.Enoder in 1841. He married Elizabeth HARRIS who was also born in St.Enoder in approx 1841, on the 30th September, 1861. Elizabeth already had a daughter, Phillipa Ann, who was born in 1858.
They had three children between 1862 and 1869. Sometime after this, probably around the period of 1871 to 1873, they moved to Yorkshire, where they had two more daughters. This information is provided by the 1881 census, which shows the family living at 7, Foster Street, Northowram, Yorks.
During the time in Yorkshire, Richard was employed as a Boiler Cleaner/Stoker. The children seem to have been employed in factory work as Worsted Bobbin Doffers.
Was back in St Enoder in 1901. |

Question - where are Annie and Emma - who were born in Yorkshire?
Although Emma would be 19 or so and perhaps moved out, Annie would be about 12.
A quick search in 1891 Cornwall, shows no suitable Emma Jose. Nor indeed any Annie.
