Note	Almost certainly the John Thomas Leach mentioned in the Bird research, born 16 June 1855 in Rochdale. Although dismissed by the person who did the research originally because he was the illegitimate son of Sarah Ann Leach, I believe this to be thecorrect John Thomas. Based on the evidence that Sarah Ann was not technically married and that her "boarder" Henry Pilkington appears to be the "Henry Leach" named on the marriage certificate for John Thomas later on.

Note	I believe Mary E Leach, who I have added as a daughter of John Thomas, to actually be the daughter of his sister, Mary. No solid evidence, but I can't see a baptism or birth registered giving Thompson as a maiden name or anything like that and I found an 1891 census with Sarah Ann, together with Mary and a Mary H Leach (Mary "Helen" Ellen Leach??) Edit: Nope. Mary Ellen was registered birth with mothers maiden name as Thompson...
