On marriage for Mary, John is listed as a hawker, so the Wardleworth chap seems to fit. Also, the use of Catherine and Ellen in her childrens names seems to suggest a possible. In this case, mother is Catherine and a sister is Ellen. Only the birth year discrepancy makes me have any doubts.1854 in 1861, yet the other census entries suggest 1857. The 1881 says she was 1856 Her death is proba bly the Sep 1918 job - aged 61.Again this suggests 1857. Of course, we need to note that ages were what people who filled in the census or death reg thought/wanted to put. Would seem a little odd with regard to the 1861 census if she was not listed correctly. Her younger sister - assuming this is the right lot - would need to also be shuffled. Hmm....
