| Note | I wonder if Thomas was first married to a Susan?
Found this marriage whic happears to be him -
29 Jun 1854
Thomas Stribley and Susan Peters.
Parents Henry Stribley (Miller) and Thomas Peters (farmer)
Seems possible since in 1861 there is a young girl named Susan living as a granddaughter with Elizabeth Peters in Goonown and aged 6.
No sign of Thomas around the area, so seems possible.
There is a death in 1855 for a Susan -
Mar qtr 1855
Truro 5c 149 |
| Note | I knew wife No2 was a Mary, and the most likely FreeBMD entry was Dec qtr 1855
which had a Mary Angwin in it.
A quick look at the 1861 census shows the Angwins had the shop on Vicarage Road which is later run by Thomas and his wife Mary...
So Mary Angwin it is - although I didn't find their marriage in the St Agnes Parish Marriage register!
