| Note | Whilst looking for the baptism of Henry, son of Louisa mentioned in the 1871 census entry, I find the baptism entry which suggests that Henry is illegitimate!
Entry 479 in the Colan Parish baptism register states -
Henry. Illegitimate son of Louisa Stevens of this Parish
Is this why her husband is not with her in 1871 onwards? She states "M" for married on the censuses, but .....
