Jose Family

There seems to be some discrepancy here between the info I have (from Diane Phillips) and the info from Paul Jenkin (Genogold). I have parents of RPT Phillips as - Benjamin Phillips and Ulelia Jacka. Paul has - Richard Phillips and Sarah Gloyns.

Currently, I find Pauls version to be the least likely. Pauls Plymouth family seem to not actually have a Richard PT Phillips listed - there is a Robert Ed PT Phillips, whose age fits with Pauls age at death - but it isn't Richard... On the other hand, the Newquay family also have anomolies. Richard T Phillips - but not PT.

FreeBMD does list a Richard Peter T Phillips, born June qtr 1876 in Plymouth district.... There is also a Richard Thomas Phillips born Sept qtr 1872 in St Columb district. That tends to point to the Plymouth link rahter than the Newqauy one. The Newquay Richard T will be Richard Thomas - the birth details will fit. Likewise, the details for the Plymouth birth seem to fit with the strangely named Robert Ed.P.T.... possibly a transcription error?
