Although obviously buried in Newlyn East cemetery (as seen from the headstone!), there is no mention of the burial in the parish register. The register of burials for 1908 only has three or so entries - so possibly lax recording?

A slight anomoly. Headstone date doesn't agree with the one I have on a list given to me by someone - perhaps John Evans? This gives the details as - John Trenerry (Miner) (cert given by a John Trenerry) Age 68, Metha Lane, buried 18/05/1908 in plot C7
