I believe Mary E Leach, who I have added as a daughter of John Thomas, to actually be the daughter of his sister, Mary. No solid evidence, but I can't see a baptism or birth registered giving Thompson as a maiden name or anything like that and I found an 1891 census with Sarah Ann, together with Mary and a Mary H Leach (Mary "Helen" Ellen Leach??) Edit: Nope. Mary Ellen was registered birth with mothers maiden name as Thompson... It seems likely that Mary, dau of Sarah Ann Leack and sister of John Thomas Leach had a daughter called mary Ellen or Mary Helen. She appears on the 1891 census and fits the details . Incorrect. Mary is dau of Sarah and Mary Ellen is dau of John Thomas. She was living with gran Sarah.
